On October 23rd, 2019, the IsDB RHI received a delegation from ADB to discuss the Regional Road Development Project Physical Completion. The Project Completion Report is coordinated with IsDB Global Practice.

The IsDB and the ADB co-financed this project along with the Government of Indonesia for the amount of approximately USD 300 Million. The rehabilitant and reconstruction of 410 km road in East and West Kalimantan and East and West Central Java provinces will improve road safety, improve national and regional connectivity, and build technical and social capacity. This project aims to improve the efficiency and safety of the road network, road users and local communities in Kalimantan, in East and West Kalimantan, East and West Central Java provinces. Of the 410 kms, IsDB has financed and developed 76 kms.

The project is 100% complete. It is expected to physically and financially close the project by the end of 2019.  The project will have a final savings of approximately USD 28, 5 mil which will help to reduce the country CUC.
