IsDB, IFAD and LLF Joint Mission to prepare the Development of Upland Agriculture Sector in Indonesia
A joint mission of IsDB, International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD), and consultants under the Lives and Livelihoods Funds (LLF) undertook an appraisal mission from 25 February – 01 March 2019. The objective of the mission was to carry out the appraisal of the Development of Integrated Farming Systems in Upland Areas Project.
A field visit was undertaken to the sub-district of Sembalun in Lombok Timur district to visit some of the intended sites of the project's interventions, as well as to meet the local government representatives and farmers. The Mission also held extensive working sessions and meetings with representatives from Indonesia’s National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture (the executing agency of the project), IFAD and the National Government Internal Auditor on various technical and implementation aspects of the project.
The Development of Integrated Farming Systems in Upland Areas Project is a project under preparation by IsDB, in partnership with LLF and IFAD, to support approximately 25,000 rural households in the upland rural areas to increase their incomes, productive capacities and overall well-being.
