The Minister of Finance of Indonesia, H.E. Dr. Sri Mulyani Indrawati, and H.E. the IsDB President, Dr. Bandar Hajjar, signed the Financing Agreements for a USD 250 millions IDB facility to support the Development of the Trans South South Java Road Project during a bilateral meeting on the occasion of the 42nd IDB Annual Meeting, 16 May 2017, Jeddah KSA.
The IDB facility will finance the construction of around 159 km of roads and bridges along the strategic Java South South corridor and will aim to reduce travel times and travel costs across the areas served by the corridor.
