The IDB Group organized a reception for its Governors attending the 2017 World Bank-IMF Annual Meeting in Washington DC on 14 October 2017. The IDB Group Governors Reception was hosted by H.E. Dr. Bandar Hajjar, the President of IDB Group. H.E. Dr. Sri Mulyani Indrawati, the Finance Minister of Indonesia/IDB Governor for Indonesia, delivered her keynote speech, sharing Indonesia’s experience on community development to fight poverty and alleviate disparity. Her Excellency highly appreciated IDB’s support for Indonesia and mentioned IDB-supported Indonesia Community-Driven Development project as one of the best practices in involving communities in the development process.
