The IDB Group together with National Development Planning and Ministry of Agriculture inaugurated the Training on Artificial Insemination Management, Training on Frozen Semen Handling and Training on Frozen Semen Production in the framework of Reverse Linkage on the Strengthening of the Artificial Insemination of Livestock between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, Government of Kyrgyz Republic and Islamic Development Bank on 7 October 2015 in Singosari National Artificial Insemination Centre, Malang, East Java.

The Singosari AI Center provided series of training on Institutional Management of Artificial Intelligent (AI) for a delegation of Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Livestock and Pasteur (KSRILP)’s senior staff. The objectives of the trainings were to promote cross-border knowledge-sharing and transfer of technology, to improve the institutional capacity of KSRILP, improve the productivity of livestock in Kyrgyz Republic, to improve the farmers’ livelihood in Kyrgyz Republic and to support Singosari National Artificial Insemination center to become an internationally recognized knowledge center.

The IDB Group Indonesia CGO stated in its keynote remarks that the IDB group was proud to support the Government of Indonesia and Kyrgyz Republic in this cooperation. “IDB consistently championed a South-South development approach as a viable developmental and regional integration tool. And the experience gained in the implementation of Reverse Linkage programs has provided an avenue for the Bank to mainstream and scale-up successful stories and best practices through the newly introduced concept of Reverse Linkages. We believe that Singosari National Artificial Insemination Center has the exact knowledge and expertise and the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Livestock and Pastures will master and be able to implement them in order to accelerate the social and economic development in Kyrgyz Republic,” he added.
