On April 30th, 2019, the Governor of Jakarta held a coffee meeting for Development Partners. The meeting aimed to explore and identify future potential collaborations in order to accelerate the development of Jakarta. Jakarta currently has various agendas to develop the city and welcomes development partners in the form of various stakeholders as well as participative and collaborative approach.

IsDB, as a development partner shared previous experiences of expertise and projects which are applicable for partnership to Jakarta’s development agenda. A joint meeting between the government of Jakarta and RHI discussed the potential support of the IsDB in the areas of Islamic Finance & Sukuk, infrastructure development with special focus on transport & affordable housing, and ways to invite FDIs to the country.
