The Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) as a dynamic international development institution has in recent years made tremendous efforts to develop new strategies to respond to the fast-changing global development landscape; to better support member countries to achieve their development aspirations in tandem with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is for this reason that the theme of this year’s Annual Meeting 2019 is “Transformation in a fast-Changing World: A Road to Sustainable Development Goals”. 

 The 44th Annual Meeting is set to take place from 03-06 of April 2019 in Marrakech, Morocco. Leading up to and after the opening ceremony, a multitude of forums and panel discussions will take place with IsDB, It’s Group entities (Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD); International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC); Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC) and the Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI) and various development stakeholders from around the world.  As in years past, forums such as the IsDB Private Sector Forum, the Youth Development Forum and the Global Forum on Islamic Finance will prove to be popular events at this years 44th Annual Meeting in Marrakech.
