Jeddah, 17.11.08 :Nobel Peace Prize laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus will deliver a lecture on his book “Creating a World Without Poverty” as part of the tenth meeting of the Arab Gulf Programme for United Nations Development Organizations (AGFUND) Prize Committee held at IDB Group headquarters in Jeddah on Tuesday 18 November 2008. Dr. Muhammad Yunus, a member of the AGFUND Prize Committee, will open the meeting at 10AM with his lecture. The meeting will be held under the auspices of HRH Prince Talal Bin AbdulAziz, Chairman of the AGFUND Prize Committee. Attending members of the AGFUND Prize Committee also include: Baroness Emma Nicholson, Vice President, Foreign Affairs Committee, European Parliament; Mrs. Mercedes Menafra, President of Todos por Uruguay and Dr. Yesufu Seyyid, Former-Director General, OPEC Fund.
