Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 24 September 2026 – H.E. Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, will lead an IsDB Group delegation to Doha, State of Qatar, from 27 to 28 September 2026 to participate in the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). 

On the sidelines of the Annual Meeting, H.E. Dr. Al Jasser will participate as a panelist in the high-level seminar, “Scaling Up Climate Finance for Impact: Turning Policy Reform into Resilient Growth,” on Monday, 28 September 2026. 

The seminar will bring together finance ministers, multilateral development bank leaders and experts to examine how policy reforms, development finance and investment instruments can mobilize public and private capital for sustainable and resilient growth. Discussions will also explore how stronger coordination among governments, MDBs and investors can translate climate commitments into investment-ready infrastructure projects and measurable development outcomes. 

H.E. Dr. Al Jasser is also scheduled to meet IsDB governors, AIIB president and representatives of key development partners to discuss strengthening partnerships and advancing cooperation in support of the development priorities of IsDB member countries.
