The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) has announced the upcoming 13th Edition of the IDB Prize for Women’s Contribution to Development. The IDB, a multilateral development institution fostering economic development and social progress, annually awards this Prize to recognize and reward women’s contribution to the socio-economic development process. Since its establishment in 2006, 42 laureates have been awarded.

This year’s prize aims to recognize, encourage, inspire and award outstanding achievements by women made in the field of Promoting Peace and Stability.

The Prize will be awarded to winners during the 43rd Annual Meeting of the IDB Board of Governors to be held in Tunisia in April 2018. The electronic version of the application forms, brochures and guidelines in three languages are also available on the IDB websitewww.isdb.org.
