On August 20-21^st, 2019, The Indonesia Africa Infrastructure Dialogue (IAID) took place in Bali, Indonesia. The Head of IsDB RHI participated in the panel discussion on financing scheme and delivered remarks on how the IsDB group can help bridge the financing and investment between Indonesia and Africa. He also presented IsDB products geared for such cooperation, including the Reverse Linkage products, the investment & export insurance product provided by ICIEC and the trade financing products provided by ITFC.

During the two-day event, panel discussions were held, featuring prominent African, Indonesian and international policymakers, as well as private sector speakers to discuss among others: Strategic Industry and Economic Diplomacy, Connectivity, Financing Scheme, Trade, and Development Cooperation.

During the event, 22 agreements were signed between Indonesia and African countries for the value of USD 822 Million, many of which can be considered as potential financing and investment opportunities for the IsDB. The event was an opportunity for RHI to establish discussions with selected active Indonesian companies operating in Africa.
