ICD, Thiqah, BI Organize West Java Investor Forum 2017

Bandung, West Java - The Islamic Corporation for Development of Private Sector (ICD), Thiqah and the Central Bank of Indonesia West Java Office co-organized the 2017 West Java Investor Forum involving approximately 200 international and national potential investors for West Java infrastructure projects.

The Islamic Corporation for Development of Private Sector (ICD), Thiqah and the Central Bank of Indonesia West Java Office co-organized the 2017 West Java Investor Forum in Bandung city, West Java on 6-7 October 2017. The CEO of ICD, Mr. Khaled Al-Aboodi and H.E. the Vice Governor of West Java, Mr. Deddy Mizwar, co-hosted the event. H.E. the President of Indonesia’s Special Envoy for the Middle East and OIC, Dr. Alwi Shihab, also attended the event and delivered his keynote speech.

Approximately 200 international and national potential investors participated the event that showcased potential infrastructure projects including airport, seaports and industrial estates. On the second day, the participants conducted a site visit to Kertajati airport, which development was one of the proposed projects.

The West Java Investor Forum 2017 connected investors with companies and individual entrepreneurs from West Java with viable business projects to exchange views on their respective businesses. It also became a platform for a constructive and fruitful dialogue between the various parties and address topics of common interest to identify concrete ways and effective solutions to support investments and private sector development in West Java.
