The Islamic Development Bank announced today the allocation of additional US$ 200,000 grant to be utilized for the same purpose, raising the total approvals aimed at supporting the displaced of war in the Somali capital, Mogadishu to US$ 400,000.

The program, which would continue to the end of the Ramadan Month, would be conducted and supervised by a mission from the Bank in cooperation with Zamzam Charity Organization in Somalia, where food stuff would be purchased from local market and distributed to more than 750,000 beneficiaries.
