The Islamic Development Bank Supports Malaysian and Iranian Made Cars

The show, which was organized during the IDB staff gathering on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, involved different types and brands of well-crafted luxury cars made in the two member countries.
H.E. Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali, IDB President addressed the gathering expressing his appreciation for the significant progress made by the auto industry in the two countries.
"It is high time for member countries to rely on their own products in auto industry" he said, adding that indigenous consumers are urged to give their confidence and support to their national- made products.
Dr. Ali added that the Islamic Development Bank in its bid to enhance the economies of member countries exerted every effort since its inception to encourage national industry and enhance its competitiveness in member countries.
During the show ceremony the two agents of the Malaysian and Iranian cars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Al Rashid & Al Thunayan Cars Co. the agent of the Malaysian Poroton cars, and Al Mirabi Group for Trading & Industry the agent of the Iranian Samand cars, announced special offers for the staff of the IDB Group, who are desiring to obtain Malaysian and Iranian cars, comprising payments and maintenance facilities.
