H.E. Dr. Ahmad Mohammed Ali, President of the Islamic Development Bank Stated that the Bank approved US$1 Million Emergency Assistance Grant for Palestinian Red Crescent to appease the difficult circumstances encountered by Palestinian Ministry of Health Hospitals.

"The grant will be used for covering the shortage of finance and medical supplies to procure medicine, medical materials, vaccines, intravenous solutions and other medical materials for Blood Banks in Palestine."

Dr. Ahmad Ali stressed the Bank's permanent support to the Palestinian People, specially in procuring Basic needs for Hospitals and Public Health Centers in Palestine.

He added that the Bank's concerned department is in a direct touch with the Palestinian Red Crescent for coordinating and procuring those needs.
