Jeddah, KSA – The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz has expressed his thanks to the Islamic Development Bank Group praying to God Almighty to grant success to the IDB Group in materializing its mandate for joint Islamic action. This came in a cable message by The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques to President of the IDB Group in response to a cable message sent by IDB Group President on behalf of the Board of Governors of the Group expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his generous patronage under which the 36th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank was held in the city of Jeddah, 29-30 June, 2011. The Board of Governors of the IDB Group further extended their most profound appreciation for the kind and generous hospitality as well as excellent arrangements accorded to them which eventually led to best accomplishment of the Meeting’s objectives. The Board further expressed their gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his continued support for joint Islamic action in accordance with the principles of the Royal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and for the country’s all-out assistance in materializing cooperation and consolidation amongst Islamic countries as well as promoting economic development and social advancement in the entire Islamic nations.
