Jeddah, KSA, 11.03.2013 – First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, HE Matlubkhon Davlatov met and conferred with Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali, Chairman, Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group last week.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the latest preparations that are underway for the conduct of the 38th Annual Meeting of the IDB Board of Governors. The Tajik First Deputy Prime Minister stated that they are looking forward to hosting the IDB Group Meeting in Dushanbe adding that in his capacity as the head of the of high committee for organizing the meeting, he is personally following up the preparations.

The capital city of Dushanbe will play host to the annual meeting at the level of Ministers of Finance, Economy and Planning from 56 IDB member countries during 18-22 May, 2013. Tajikistan joined the IDB in November 1996.
