With profound sadness, I received the distressing news of the devastating floods that wreaked havoc across Libya.

I extend my heartfelt condolences and prayers to the people and Government of Libya.

The Islamic Development Bank affirms its support for Libya in these difficult times to alleviate the devastating effects of the floods.

We pray to Almighty Allah to rest the souls of the departed, comfort the grieving families, and grant the injured quick recovery.
