Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: As part of his West Africa tour, the IsDB President and IsDB Group Chairman, H.E Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser will undertake his first visit to Côte d’Ivoire from 26 to 28 October, to deepen the relationships between the country and the Islamic Development Bank Group. He will explore the opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the Bank Group and the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, present the new strategy of the IsDB, and agree on future areas of collaboration with Côte d' Ivoire.

During his stay, President Al Jasser will confer with the country’s highest authority and meet other national stakeholders to discuss ways of improving the partnerships. He will also visit some projects financed by IsDB, including the largest project in the Bank’s portfolio in Côte d'Ivoire, namely the Cocody Bay Development Project (PABC), which is currently under implementation.
