President of the Islamic Development Bank and Group Chairman, H.E. Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, will be leading a delegation to attend the 2022 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, to be held in Washington DC, the United States America on 10-17 October 2022.

On this occasion, the Islamic Development Bank Group Chairman will participate in numerous bilateral meetings with senior high-level officials from international financial institutions, to compare notes with leaders of multilateral development partners on critical joint global concerns and challenges like food security, climate adaptation as well as job possibilities during the post covid recovery phase.

The President will also hold a bilateral talk with a number of delegations from Islamic Development Bank member countries such as Benin, Qatar, and UAE amongst others.

In addition, the President will be on hand to witness the signing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding that will be made between the Bank and its most important partners, including the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, among other organizations. He will also be participating in high-level panel discussions on job creation amongst others.
