Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 22 February 2025 – Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, HE Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HRH Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, as well as to the royal family and the people of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia on the occasion of the Kingdom’s Founding Day.

Dr. Al Jasser highlighted this day as a defining milestone, reflecting a rich heritage of unity, stability, and prosperity spanning over three centuries. He underscored the Kingdom’s historical role in fostering solidarity across the Muslim world and promoting stability and development internationally.

“The anniversary of the Founding Day reminds us of the glories of this blessed nation, whose seeds of renaissance were sowed by noble leaders on strong foundations of justice and stability to become an inspiring model of development and modernization today, looking ahead with unwavering determination and boundless ambition,” he stated.

Dr. Al Jasser pointed out that the Kingdom is not only a cradle of civilization and a beacon of religious enlightenment but also a key player in global economic development and the consolidation of economic integration among Muslim countries.

He noted that the establishment of the Islamic Development Bank, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in Riyadh last April, stands as a testament to the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting growth and prosperity for humanity. “The Kingdom’s continued generous support has empowered the IsDB to become a driving force for sustainable development worldwide,” said the IsDB Group Chairman.

Dr. Al Jasser expressed confidence that the Kingdom would continue to achieve greater progress and prosperity under the prudent leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince, praying that Allah, the Almighty, grants the Kingdom enduring security, stability, and prosperity to continue to fulfill its crucial mission regionally and globally.
