Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 25 October 2023 – The President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), H.E. Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, met in Riyadh with Mr. Constantin Cotzias, Director of Bloomberg LP Europe, to exchange views on global finance and development trends. The meeting provided an opportunity to also explore potential partnership opportunities between IsDB and Bloomberg.

During the meeting, Dr. Al Jasser emphasized IsDB's commitment to enhancing critical sustainable infrastructure development in its 57 member countries. He also highlighted IsDB's triangular and south-south cooperation programs for impactful capacity development and humanitarian assistance through targeted knowledge-sharing and technical assistance initiatives.

The two sides also exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation, including capital market development and domestic resource mobilization as well as the promotion of financial literacy in developing and emerging economies.
