IDB to Organize Trade Negotiation Course in Association with WTO and Foreign Trade Ministry, UAE
Jeddah, 11.6.2011: The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in collaboration with the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the Ministry of Foreign Trade, UAE, will be organizing an intensive course on Trade Negotiation Skills for Arab Countries during 12-16 June 2011 in Dubai, UAE. Around 42 participants from trade ministries in 16 Arab countries are expected to attend.
The course will provide participants with knowledge and skills in conducting trade negotiations, decision analysis and negotiating process. It is expected that the participants will be able to apply the skills learnt from the course in bilateral and multilateral trade negotiations on behalf of their respective countries.
It may be noted that this event comes within the framework of IDB's WTO-related Technical Assistance and Capacity Building programs.
