Jeddah, 16.3.2011 : At the invitation of H.E. Mr. Ali Bongo Ondimba, The President of The Republic of Gabon, the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali visits Libreville on Friday 18th March 2011.
The President, IDB will discuss with the Gabonese the relations between the Bank and the Republic of Gabon, and role of the Bank in enhancing the country’s socioeconomic development plans.
The total IDB project approvals for Gabon up to date exceeds US$ 411 million more than 94% of it was dedicated for transportation and communications sector.
Currently seven road projects financed by IDB are underway, and they are aimed at enhancing the country’s infrastructure and revitalization of its socioeconomic development.
