The meeting will also include discussions to exchange ideas related to mobilizing funds for the recently established Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development for combating poverty and unemployment in Muslim countries.
Moreover, the Session is set to discuss ways and means to promote intra trade between OIC Member Countries and the role of the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), an affiliate member of the IDB Group.
The session which coincides with the meeting of the Bank's Board of Executive Directors will be attended by H.E. Dr. Ibrahim Bin Abdul Aziz Al Assaf, Minister of Finance, IDB Governor for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, former and current members of the Board of Executive Directors, and former and current IDB Vice Presidents.
The working session involves a presentation on IDB Group Reform Program Within the 1440H Vision to ensure that the Group is in tune with the different international changes, and is responsive to the increasing development needs in member countries and the Islamic communities in non member countries.
