14.02.2012, Jeddah, KSA – The Islamic Development Bank Group will organize a three-day consultation workshop at its headquarters during 18-20 February on implementation of “Reverse Linkages (RL) Initiative”, a key partnership platform for exchange of knowledge and best practices. Concurrent with IDB’s 281st meeting of the Board of Executive Directors, the event is to be attended by the IDB President, Board of Executive Directors and the Management.

The meeting is expected to generate a concrete program for implementing the reverse linkages initiative in member countries and promoting activities in the areas of “Islamic Finance, Poverty Reduction and Institutional Development.” IDB Group’s RL initiative first came in to light during the 35th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Bank in 2010 in Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan where the concept received full support of the participants
