Jeddah, KSA, 25.03.2013 – In a meeting at IDB headquarters with visiting Palestinian Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Sedqi Al Habbash, the IDB Group Chairman, Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali, underlined the Group’s commitment to support development plans and programs in Palestine.
On that occasion, Dr. Al Habbash expressed the Palestinian Authority’s gratitude for IDB’s continued support and sought further assistance to a number of new endowment projects to be implemented by the Ministry of Awqaf in both cities of Ramallah and Al Quds.
The Palestinian Minister extended an official invitation to the IDB Group Chairman to attend a conference on “Islamic and Christian endowments in Al-Qods under Israeli Occupation” slated for 5-6 June, 2013 in Ramallah.
