Hajj Meat Consignments Reach Guinea Bissau and Yemen
13.03.2014, Jeddah, KSA – As part of the distribution plan set by the Saudi Project for Utilization of Hajj Meat (Adahi) for the 2013 season, two consignments of 5,000 and 20,000 frozen carcasses are expected to be distributed among the needy in Guinea Bissau and Yemen, respectively.
The consignments are part of the ongoing Adahi project 2013 distribution plan of nearly 770,000 frozen carcasses inside the Saudi Arabia and in 23 other countries in Asia and Africa through land and sea. Representatives from the IDB, which has been operating this environment-friendly project since 1983, will supervise the distribution.
IDB Group Chairman, Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali renewed profound appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince and the Government of Saudi Arabia for the support rendered to the project.
