Jeddah, 15.01.2015 - the OIC Outstanding Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) gives every two years a number of awards based on excellent performance in S&T. These awards are restricted to scientists from OIC member countries, For the year 2015, the following categories are announced:

1. COMSTECH Awards 2015 in Physics and Mathematics
2. COMSTECH Awards for Excellence in S&T 2015

The awards are conferred on the occasion of the COMSTECH General Assembly. The next General Assembly session is scheduled to be held in Islamabad, Pakistan from 7-9 April 2015. Category ‘1’ prizes (two) consist of a cash award of US$ 5000 and a personalized plaque. Category ‘2’ prizes (four) consist of a cash award of US$ 3000 and a Certificate of Merit.
