16 Arab Countries to Attend IDB’s Trade Negotiation Course

Jeddah, KSA, 29.05.2014 – Forty participants from 16 Arab countries are expected to attend an advanced course on “Trade Negotiation Skills” to be organized by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in Dubai (1-5 June, 2014), UAE, in association with the WTO and the Ministry of Economy of UAE.

Experts from the WTO and IDB will elaborate on how to enhance the negotiating skills in simulated environment and deepen their understanding of the subject.

The participants will apply different modalities on agriculture, industrial and services market access trade negotiations under the current “Doha Development Agenda”.

This course falls within the framework of IDB’s WTO-related Technical Assistance and Capacity Building Program launched in 1997 to assist OIC member countries on WTO-related matters.
