Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 12^th December 2023 – Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) through its Center of Excellence in Kuala Lumpur (KLCoE) and Cooperation & Capacity Development Department (CCD) joined hands with the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MOHE) in facilitating a study visit by six (6) officials of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan (IIAU) to Malaysia. The visit took place between 4^th-10^th December 2023 and was funded under the Technical Cooperation Program (TCP) of IsDB.

The visit intended to exchange knowledge and experiences of the Malaysian universities in implementing the advanced higher education system, particularly on modern teaching technologies and management which being adopted, aiming to be replicated at International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.

Various top universities of Malaysia participated in this initiative by hosting the visits in their respective universities, among others University of Malaya (UM), National University of Malaysia (UKM), International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) and Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM).
