Tackling the pandemic is daunting and is a complex task in the Member Countries affected by fragility and conflict where economic and social systems are already fragile and to some extent dysfunctional.

The event will underline that creating employment opportunities through “Responding, Restoring and Restarting” is necessary to reduce fragility, enhance stabilization and reintegration.

Participants will elaborate on how critical it is to come up with combined innovative protection mechanisms that will promote and create stability, provides social protection and opportunities to communities affected by the pandemic and sustain these gains.
