  1. The Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources has received financing in the amount of (US$ 104,000,000/-) equivalent from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Flood Protection Dams Rescoped Project.

 

  1. The Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Construction of Wadi Al-Ansab Flood Protection Dams (ANS02 & ANS03) in Wilayat Bawsher, Muscat Governorate.

 

  1. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in IsDB’s Guidelines : Procurement of Goods, Works and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing (April 2019, revised Feb. 2023),(“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.18 -21 setting forth IsDB’s policy on conflict of interest.

 

  1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Department of Dams, Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources, Al-Khuwair, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, Tel: +968 2495 2292, Email: director.dams@mafwr.gov.om.

 

  1. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased online by interested eligible bidders Through E-Tendering Website ( https:// etendering.tenderboard.gov.om/ ).

 

  1. Bids must be submitted through the E-Tendering website (Esnad) on or before 26 May 2025 at 11 AM on the website. Physical Delivery of bids will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened by the Tender Board Committee and evaluated by the Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources.

 

  1. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as specified on the Tender Documents: 100,000/- OMR (One hundred Thousand Omani Rials).
