SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE Arab Republic of Egypt The Egyptian Public Authority for Drainage project Third National Drainage project Supply and erection of HDPE Drainage single wall pipes Production Line and spare Parts and Laboratory Equipment Mode of Financing: Istisnaa Financing No. : EGT - 0098 Bid No. : 3 /2017 The Arab Republic of Egypt has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Third National Drainage project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for supply and erection of HDPE Drainage single wall pipes Production Line and spare Parts and Laboratory Equipment. The Egyptian Public Authority for Drainage project (EPADP) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for: Contract number 3/2017 to lot: Item (1) : HDPE Drainage single wall pipes Production Line and spare Parts. Item (2): Laboratory equipment required for testing final produced pipes. The delivery/construction period is 12 month from confirmed L/C. A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of LE (1500 L.E) All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of lot: (Item 1) $ 43000 for foreign supplier and L.E 860000 Local supplier & bid security of (Item 2) $ 3500 for foreign supplier and L.E 70000 for Local supplier, and be delivered to the address below by 12 o'clock on Sunday ( 19 / 11 /2017). They will be opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened. The Pre-bid meeting will be held at address below on Sunday (22 /10 / 2017). Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the ISDB’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from EPADP at the address below during office hours from 8-3. The method of payment will be cash at EPADP. The document will be received from EPADP Head Quarter. Upon contract award and signature, the Bidder should submit the Agent Registration Form (S 14 Form) - Local suppliers must state clearly that their offers include Value Added Taxes (VAT) or not.
