INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR Multi-Storey Parking in Muharraq MUHARRAQ PEARLING HERITAGE CONSERVATION AND URBAN ECONOMIC REVIVAL (Istisna’a No. BH-0061) T1/2017 The Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities invites all eligible local and international contractors to participate in the Prequalification for the construction of 4 multi-storey parking structures in Muharraq, This follows the general procurement notice for this project that was published on 15/09/2015. The Government of Bahrain has received an Istisna' financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) toward the cost of the Muharraq pearling heritage conservation and urban economic revival, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this istisna’a to payments under the contract for Construction of Multi-Storey Parkings in Muharraq. The Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for construction of four multi-storey parking structures in Muharraq. It is expected that invitations to bid will be made in October 2017. Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries, as defined in the guidelines . Interested Contractors are kindly requested to: 1. Collect Pre-qualification documents, after paying nonrefundable fees of BD 25, from Administration Services Section, between 12 July 2017 and 30 August 2017, during normal working hours. 2. All Prequalification Applications (original hardcopy of the Prequalification Documents, with (2) electronic version (pdf format), and a copy of tender submission form no. TB02) should be deposited in the Prequalification box provided at Tender Board’s Offices at Al Moayyed Tower, 7th Floor, Seef Area , before the Prequalification closing date on 30 August 2017 at 1.30 pm. The opening process will take place on 31st of August, 2017 at Tender Board’s offices. The companies that will not participate in PRE- QUALIFICATION will not be invited to participate in the tender for these works. 3. This Prequalification invitation should comply with the provisions of General Tenders Regulations, No(36) for the year 2002, and it’s Executive Regulations No.(37) for the year 2002. 4.
