SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE for DANGARA VALLEY IRRIGATION PROJECT, PHASE III, Land Reclamation and Irrigation Sector System of Pipelines (Main Pipeline MTR and MTR-1, MTR-2, MTR-3), Closed Irrigation Network, Electrical Supply and Duty Buildings Mode of Financing: Istisna’a under Jeddah Declaration Financing No. IDB-TAD-0051-0052; GOT contribution Contract/Bid No. DVIP-3/CW/1 The Government of Tajikistan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Dangara Valley Irrigation Project, Phase III, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for the construction of System of Pipelines (Main Pipeline MTR and MTR-1, MTR-2, MTR-3), Closed Irrigation Network, Electrical Supply and Duty Buildings, Contract No: DVIP-3/CW/1 (Package 1). The Project Implementation Unit under Agency for Land Reclamation and Irrigation under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction and completion of System of Pipelines (Main Pipeline MTR and MTR-1, MTR-2, MTR-3), Closed Irrigation Network, Electrical Supply and Duty Buildings. The scope, inter alia, includes construction of; i) water intake structure for diversion of water from VD-3 canal into main pipe line – MTR, ii) main pipe line –MTR, iii) Construction of three main distribution pipe lines off-taking from MTR; MTR-1 (5.258 Km), MTR-2 (6.043 Km) & MTR-3 (10.172 Km), iv) water outlets, v) 44 closed irrigation network pipe lines; 12 pipe lines from MTR-1, 15 pipe lines from MTR-2 and 17 pipe lines from MTR-3, vi) Electro-chemical protection of main supply steel pipe line – MTR, vii) installation of 10 KV power transmission line from existing sub-station up to the Intake Structure on VD-3 canal and duty buildings, viii) three buildings for O&M staff and renovation of area around that vicinity. The delivery/construction period is expected to be around 24 months. The project is located in Dangara Valley. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding limited to IsDB member countries procedures as specified in the IsDB’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.
