SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE Republic of Tajikistan Invitation for Pre-Qualification Reconstruction of the Ravshan Electricity Substation Project IDB Financing No. TAD-0054 Contract/Bid No. ICB-01 This invitation for prequalification follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in newspaper “Asharq Al-Awsat” dated 15th April, 2014, on official website of Islamic Development Bank www.isdb.org and OSHC “Barki Tojik” www.barqitojik.tj The Government of Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the project “Reconstruction of the Ravshan Electricity Substation” and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Turnkey contract for: Supply and Installation of two Power Transformers 220/110/10 kV (2x125MVA), Replacement of Electro Technical Equipment, Replacement of Measuring and Control Equipment, Replacement of Relay Protection and Automation Equipment, Replacement of Communication Equipment, Replacement of 220 kV SF6 Circuit Breakers, Replacement of 220 kV Current Transformers and Replacement of Auxiliary Equipment, as well as equipment installation, reconstruction and site improvement The State Establishment “Project Management Unit for Electro-Energy Sector” intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for the above lot. The Prequalification will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the IsDB’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing (May 2009), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.
