Pumps and Drives for West Damietta Power Plant Project
GOVERNMENT OF ARAB REPUBLIC OF EGYPT MINISTRY OF ELECTRICITY AND RENEWABLE ENERGY EGYPTIAN ELECTRICITY HOLDING COMPANY WEST DAMIETTA POWER PROJECT PHASE II CONVERTING EXISTING SIMPLE CYCLE TO COMBINED CYCLE PUMPS AND DRIVES SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) toward the cost of West Damietta Power Project Phase II, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the Purchase Order for Pumps and Drives. The East Delta Electricity Production Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of EEHC hereinafter called "Owner", now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for performing all works related to, including but not limited to, designing, fabricating, shop testing, delivering, installation supervision, commissioning supervision, start up supervision, field-testing supervision and training of Pumps and Drives for West Damietta Power Project Phase II. The delivery/construction period is 626 Days from the execution of Purchase Order. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive tendering procedures and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the guidelines of the IDB. The Bids must be submitted on April 23, 2015 at 12:00 (noon) in two Envelopes which will be opened on the same day and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in an acceptable form equal to USD 80,000. Bids shall be valid for a period of 180 days after Bid opening. The Bid Document for the above Package will be available at EDEPC’s offices on February 22, 2015.
