SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE Invitation for Pre-qualification Arab Republic of Egypt Assiut Oil Refinery Upgrade Project FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurements, and Construction activities, commissioning and start-up of the ASORC Naphtha Complex. EGT0111 This invitation for prequalification follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in the following newspapers: Al-Ahram (NO. 46931) of 4 Jun 2015. Al Akhbar (NO 19703) of 4Jun 2015. Al-Ahram Weekly (NO.1250) of 11-17 Jun 2015. ASHARQ AL-AWSAT (NO.13347) of 14 Jun 2015. The Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt has received a Finance from the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) towards the cost of the Assiut Oil Refinery Upgrade Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for lump sum contract for performing FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurements, and Construction activities, commissioning and start-up of the ASORC Naphtha Complex. The Assiut Oil Refining Company (ASORC) intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for performing FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurements, and Construction activities, commissioning and start-up of the ASORC Naphtha Complex (Naphtha Hydrotreater Unit (Capacity 660 KTA), CCR Reforming Unit, C5/C6 Isomerization Unit with DIH recycle And all related equipment required for the above units). It is expected that invitations for bid will be made in January 2016. Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the Islamic Development Bank’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works, May 2009 and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries, as defined in the guidelines. Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information and inspect the prequalification document at the ASORC (address below) from 0900 to 1400 hours. A complete set of the prequalification document in English language may be purchased by interested Applicants on the submitting of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of LE 1500 or USD 200. The method of payment should be:- 1- Cash paid at ASORC premises. or 2- Cheque drown in favor of Assiut Oil Refining Co. (ASORC).
