REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (CONSULTANT SERVICES) PAKISTAN Establishment of 510 Bed NUST Teaching Hospital Higher Education Sector CONSULTING SERVICES Financing No. PAK 128 Project ID No.: 004 The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Establishment of 510 Bed Teaching Hospital, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include Medical Equipment/Furniture Procurement, Installation Supervision and Commissioning of Equipment. Daily Times, 7th July 2013 The National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide specific information which demonstrate that they are fully qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.) Experience in the following area or tasks shall be the minimum requirement for the assignment: a. Packaging of Equipment / Budget Estimate. b. Development of Specifications. c. Procurement of Equipment including Tender Preparation, Bidder Prequalification and Award of Work. d. Supervise Installation/Commissioning of Equipment and Interfacing with Hospital Information System. e. Training of Operators and Preparation of SOPs. Consultants may express interest in the forms of association, validated by an agreement among members of the association which clearly specifies the type of association, i.e. a joint-venture, intermediate forms of association or sub consultancy. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition).
