REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST CONSULTING SERVICES Republic of Sudan Eastern Sudan Reconstruction & Development Fund Project Management Unit Rehabilitation of New Halfa Agricultural Scheme Project Financing No.: SU-170/171 The Republic of Sudan has received an istisna’a financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for Design Review and Construction Supervision. The services include: (i) design review, (ii) assistance to Project Management Unit and the Executing agency during procurement process, (iii) construction supervision, and (iv) Training and Capacity Building for productivity enhancement. The Eastern Sudan Rehabilitation and Development Fund (ESRDF), an executing agency now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, general qualifications and number of key staff and so forth). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. A consultant will be selected from a short-list limited to IDB member country firms as defined in the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition).
