Construction of Teaching Hospital for National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION NUST has obtained a loan from the Islamic Development Bank toward the provision of a state-of-the-art 510 Bed Teaching Hospital and Dental Hospital as part of medical complex within its campus, Sector H-12, Islamabad, Pakistan. The Executing Agency is the Project Management Unit (PMU) and the Consultant is Spectrum Engineering Consultants s.a.r.l. (Lebanon) The prequalification will be conducted in accordance with the IDB procedures. Pre-qualification is open only to firms and voluntarily formed joint ventures from OIC member countries. Eligible applicants who have satisfactory evidence of previous comparable experience and capacity to perform this work within the prescribed period, including equipment, personnel and financial resources may obtain the pre-qualification documents by contacting the address below. The request must clearly state “Request for Pre-qualification for the Construction of Teaching Hospital at NUST, Islamabad, Pakistan”. The documents will be available as of 09 December 2013 for a non-refundable fee of US$ 100.00/equivalent per set. Documents can be downloaded from NUST website. However, the firms intending to download documents must attach the cost of document in the form of Bank Draft / Pay Order in the name of National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, along with their submittals, failing which the request for prequalification will not be entertained. Documents requested by air courier will be dispatched on payment of an additional amount of US$ 100.00/equivalent, but neither the Executing Agency nor the Consultant will be held responsible for late delivery or loss of the documents so mailed. Submission of applications for Prequalification must be received in sealed envelopes, which must be delivered either by hand or registered mail to the Executing Agency at the address below by 1200 hours on 13 January 2013, and be clearly marked “Application to Prequalification for Construction of Teaching Hospital at NUST, Islamabad, Pakistan”.
