The Ministry of Education, Oman with a financial aid from the Islamic Development Bank, is implementing “The Remedy of Speech and Language Disorders of Students with Special Needs “ project in the Sultanate of Oman. The ministry invites the interested suppliers and consultation bodies to show their interest in providing the following services: First: Supplying devices and programs that are used in diagnosing speech and communication disorders Second: 1. Preparing training materials for students who suffer from speech disorder (flashcards, computer interaction program). The programs shall be adopted to the Omani environment and suitable to the age of the students. 2. Preparing and implementing a training program for (25) people who work in the field of speech and communication disorders therapy. The supplier and the consultation body shall provide information on their work domain, previous work they have done in a similar projects, and the experience of their staff. More than one suppliers or consultation body can cooperate to prompt their technical abilities to provide the above mentioned services. The selection shall be based on conditions and rules applied in the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Development Bank .
