The Republic of Yemen has received a grant from the Islamic development Bank towards financing cost of preparation of feasibility study for Al Baida Agricultural & Rural Development Project and intends to apply apportion of this grant to payment for consultants under contract. Consultant is required to carry out feasibility study for Al Baida Agricultural & Rural Development Project, the study will cover the following aspects: - Agriculture development. - Soil and Irrigation. - Social and Rural Services. - Woman development. - Animal Husbandry. - Environmental Impact Assessment. - Technical Assistance and Training. The Coordination Unit of the Project now invites eligible consulting firm to indicate their interest in providing the services for any the above mentioned field. Interested consulting firm must provide information with documentary evidences indicating that they are qualified to perform the services. Description of similar assignment. Experience in similar operation conditions. Availability of key professional staff, etc.). Consulting firms may associate to enhance their qualification. Consulting firm will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Guideline for the Use of Consultants under the IDB Financing (June 2009).
