(UETCL) as Employer. 3.Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Ltd. (UETCL) has received a financing loan from the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) towards the cost of Opuyo-Moroto Transmission Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this financing will be applied to eligible payments under contracts for: Lot 1-Engineering, Procurement and Construction of Opuyo - Moroto 132 KV double circuit transmission line Lot 2-Design, Supply, Installation and Associated civil work of 132/33kV Moroto substation & extension of Opuyo substation. 4.The UETCL now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders. International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Bank's “Single-Stage” Bidding Procedure specified in the Islamic Development Bank’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works, May 2009.
