REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (CONSULTANT SERVICES) TAJIKISTAN DANGARA VALLEY IRRIGATION PROJECT, PHASE 3 AGRICULTURE AND WATER RESOURCES SECTOR CONSULTING SERVICES Mode of Financing: Istisnaa The Government of Tajikistan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Dangara Valley Irrigation Project, phase III (2TJK-0087) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include preparation of detailed design, tender documents for all the components and construction supervision up to the end of liability period and preparation of periodic progress reports, including inception and completion reports. Please refer to the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in Asia-Plus paper No.72 dated 26/09/2013, Tajikistan and IDB web-site. The Ministry of Land Reclamation and Water Resources now invites eligible consultants from Member Countries to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide specific information which demonstrates that they are fully qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Experience in the following area or tasks shall be the minimum requirement for the assignment: - Assistance in Project Management - Design of works for the construction of irrigation & drainage system - Procurement (preparation of bidding documents, evaluation, contracting etc. - Construction Supervision Consultants may express interests in the forms of association, validated by an agreement among members of the association which clearly specifies the type of association, i.e. a joint-venture, intermediate forms of association, or sub consultancy. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition).
