GOVERNMENT OF ARAB REPUBLIC OF EGYPT MINISTRY OF ELECTRICITY AND RENEWABLE ENERGY EGYPTIAN ELECTRICITY HOLDING COMPANY WEST DAMIETTA POWER PROJECT PHASE II CONVERTING EXISTING SIMPLE CYCLE TO COMBINED CYCLE MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT / PIPE INSTALLATION SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) toward the cost of West Damietta Power Project Phase II, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contract for Mechanical Equipment / Pipe Installation. The East Delta Electricity Production Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of EEHC hereinafter called "Owner", now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Tenderers for performing all works related to, including but not limited to, designing, fabricating, furnishing, delivery to site, receiving, storing, installing, training, testing, starting up, commissioning and placing into successful operation and maintaining of all equipment and systems within Contract Package Specification until Taking Over and Acceptance Certificate (TOAC), preparation of detailed drawings, technical documents and as-built documents for Mechanical Equipment / Pipe Installation for West Damietta Power Project Phase II. The delivery/construction period is 695 Days from the execution of Contract. Tendering will be conducted through the international competitive Tendering procedures as specified in “the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing” (current edition), and is open to all eligible Tenderers as defined in the guidelines. The Tender Document for the above Package will be available at EDEPC’s offices on November 22, 2014.
