REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST NO. 001/2017/EOI/GP-IRDP OF 11/05/2017 FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF AN INTERNATIONAL SUPERVISION CONSULTANT Mode of Financing: ISTISNA’A Financing No. 2CM-0088 The Government of Cameroon has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Grassfield Participatory and Integrated Rural Development Project (GP-IRDP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include Supervision services. Please refer to the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in IDB website and UNDB online on the 27/03/2017. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MINADER) through Grassfield participatory and Integrated Rural Development Project (GP-IRDP), the Project Management Unit (PMU) now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide specific information which demonstrate that they are fully qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Experience in the following area or tasks shall be the minimum requirement for the assignment: • Supervision of construction works and processing plants; • Procurement of various equipment/works and detailed definition of the procurement plan; • Development of yearly and quarterly implementation and budgets; • Monitoring and evaluation of the project implementation; • Ensure process continuity during implementation; and • Preparation of a detailed preventive maintenance programme for new facilities and equipment. Consultants may express interests in the forms of association, validated by an agreement among members of the association which clearly specifies the type of association, i.e. a joint-venture, intermediate forms of association, or sub consultancy. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition).
