Contract Title: Supply of Didactic Equipment for the Home Economics Specialties

ICB or ICB/MC Reference: General Procurement Notice published on IsDB website and Cameroon Tribune in April 2015

1.             The Government of the Republic of Cameroon has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Secondary Technical Education Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the supply, installation, putting into service and the training of the users of didactic equipment for the Home Economics specialties, in four separate lots.

2.             The Minister of Secondary Education now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply the goods as followed, in four separate lots:

Lot 1

Title of Supply - Supply, installation, putting into service and training of users of didactic equipment cooking and artistic techniques, hygiene and yoghurt processing for GTHS Maroua.

Beneficiary Structure - Government Technical High School Maroua

Workshop Concerned - Cooking techniques, Decoration and Artistic Education, Specialized room for nutrition practical, Specialized room for baby care-gerontology, Room for the arrangement and hygiene of daily life, Yoghurt processing.

Lot 2

Title of Supply - Supply, installation, putting into service and training of users of didactic equipment for the bakery, pastry and meat processing specialties in GTHS Maroua.

Beneficiary Structure - Government Technical College Nsam-Yaounde

Workshop Concerned - Bakery- Pastry, Meat processing

Lot 3

Title of Supply - Supply, installation, putting into service and training of users of didactic equipment cooking and artistic techniques, hygiene and yoghurt processing in GTC Nsam 

Beneficiary Structure - Government Technical High School Maroua

Workshop Concerned - Cooking techniques, Decoration and Artistic Education, Specialized room for nutrition practical, Specialized room for baby care-gerontology, Room for the arrangement and hygiene of daily life, Yoghurt processing.

Lot 4

Title of Supply - Supply, installation, putting into service and training of users of didactic equipment for the bakery, pastry and meat processing specialties in GTC Nsam.

Workshop Concerned - Bakery- Pastry, Bakery- Pastry

3.             Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) or International Competitive Bidding limited to IDB member countries (ICB/MC) procedures as specified in IsDB’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing, September 2018 edition (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.18 -21 setting forth IsDB’s policy on conflict of interest.

4.             Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Project Management Unit, PEST, 1st floor, Pharmacie de l’Ecole de Police’s building, opposite Tsinga MRS filling Station, Yaoundé, Phone: (+237) 222 20 10 14  and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 0900 to 1600 hours from Mondays to Fridays at the address given below.

5.             A complete set of bidding documents in French or English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 150,000 CFA Francs (One hundred and fifty thousand Francs). The method of payment will be through deposit on the account « CAS-ARMP » N° 335 988. The document will be sent by deposit at the PEST-PMU secretariat.

6.             Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before   12 May, 2020 at 11 pm prompt. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on                       .  

7.             All bids must be accompanied by a guaranty as per lot of:
