SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE TAJIKISTAN DANGARA VALLEY IRRIGATION PROJECT, PHASE III Land Reclamation and Irrigation Sector Rehabilitation of DMC & VD-3 Canals, Construction of Drainage System and Land Leveling Works Mode of Financing: Istisna’a under Jeddah Declaration Financing No. IDB-TAD-0052 Contract/Bid No. DVIP-3/CW/2 The Government of Tajikistan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Dangara Valley Irrigation Project, Phase III, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for the Rehabilitation of DMC & VD-3 canals, Construction of Drainage System and Land Leveling Works, Contract No: DVIP-3/CW/2 (Package 2). The Project Implementation Unit under Agency for Land Reclamation and Irrigation under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction and completion of Rehabilitation of DMC & VD-3 canals, Construction of Drainage System and Land Leveling Works. The scope includes rehabilitation part of existing Dangara Main Canal (DMC) & VD-3 Canal (approximately 0.7 km concrete section in different location), construction of drainage system (approximately 100 km concrete lined open channel collectors along with water outlets) and land leveling (approximately 1200 ha land). The delivery/construction period is expected to be around 24 months. The project is located in Dangara Valley. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding limited to IsDB member countries procedures as specified in the IsDB’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.
